Salle is an Italian village in Pescara province. The historic core of the village, today called Salle old, was severely hit by the earthquake of 1915, and completely abandoned. It has a small castle with towers, used as a museum. The village has been entirely rebuilt downstream during the Fascist period. For more information visit the official site.
